Responsibilities:
Ensure safe working methods and procedures in accordance with local code of practice.
Manage job costs and claims including verification.
Provide monthly departmental information.
Schedule assigned projects utilising Microsoft Project, update work load in monthly departmental report.
Manage progress claim and variation request, costs and timely claims with the customer – ensure claiming and collection of all progress and variation monies for projects assigned.
Clarify all outstanding data/info with the customer (scope of supply, work by others, finishes, etc.).
Manage site (including attend site meetings, check site conditions)
Prepare all local material suppliers / vendors as well as sub-contractor.
Monitor site progress.
Ensure timely equipment delivery, installation and handover to the customer.
Ensure smooth and timely handover as per agreed handover procedure for projects assigned.
Collect and negotiate Retention Money and outstanding payments from the customer for projects assigned.
Perform any other task assigned by superior from time to time without any written notice.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Automotive or equivalent.
Must posses own transport.
Willing travel to sites.
